Camera Recycle – Shipping Policy
At Camera Resale (Formerly Camera Recycle) , we take pride in providing prompt and secure deliveries to our customers, both domestically and internationally. All orders are packed and posted within 24 hours of placement on working days, with weekend orders shipped on Mondays. We primarily use the trusted and reliable Royal Mail for domestic deliveries, while international shipments are sent via DPD. References to Camera Recycle and Camera Resale are interchangeable and are the same entity,
Domestic UK Delivery Information
Our domestic orders are delivered through Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service, allowing you to easily track your package every step of the way. If you have specific delivery preferences or requirements, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs. We’re also happy to arrange alternative courier services such as DPD or FedEx upon request.
If you require a guaranteed Saturday delivery after placing your order on a Friday, we can offer this service upon request. Simply contact us before 1pm on Friday and we'll ensure your items are delivered when you need them.
International Shipping Information
We offer worldwide shipping through our trusted partner DPD, with regular customers in the USA and Australia. We understand that international shipping can be complicated, so we provide all the necessary information for a seamless delivery experience.
Australia
For shipments to Australia, no duty is payable on goods valued at or below 1000 AUD. For goods above this amount, duty and taxes may apply. Standard delivery time is typically 3–5 business days.
USA
For shipments to the USA, goods valued at or below 800 USD are not subject to import fees. For goods over 800 USD, import fees may apply. We recommend checking with your local customs office for details. Standard delivery time is typically 2–4 business days.
EU
For shipments to the EU, imported goods may be subject to VAT and customs duties, payable at delivery or through your local customs office. Delivery times vary depending on the country of destination, typically 4–5 business days. To avoid delays or extra fees, check your country’s customs regulations before ordering.
Other Countries
For shipments to other destinations, delivery times vary based on country and customs processes. Please consult your local customs office or government website for up-to-date information on import regulations and fees.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees applicable in their country. Camera Recycle is not responsible for delays caused by customs or for any charges incurred at the destination.
Failed or Returned Deliveries
If a delivery is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or non-collection, we can resend the order once additional postage costs are paid. If an order is cancelled after a failed delivery, only the item cost will be refunded (excluding postage).
Estimated Delivery Disclaimer
All delivery times quoted are estimates provided by our courier partners. While we dispatch promptly, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates once an order has left our premises.
Tracked Returns & “Sell to Us” Shipments
All customer returns and trade-in parcels use fully tracked postal labels to ensure security in transit. When sending equipment to us:
- Always obtain a proof of postage receipt showing the tracking number at drop-off.
- Keep your tracking details until we confirm receipt or payment.
- Parcels sent using a Camera Recycle label are insured in transit until delivered to us.
- If you use your own courier or postage, risk remains with you until the parcel is received by Camera Recycle.
We manage all courier investigations for trade-in or “Sell to Us” parcels reported lost in transit and will communicate directly once Royal Mail or DPD complete their inquiry.
